Overview

Cabramatta Leagues Club wanted to give its members and guests a new

sense of style to the Club from the entry thru to gaming, lounge, outdoor

gaming, bars, toilets and auditorium. It was unsurprising they chose Network

Refurbishments & Construction to be charged with this major design and

construct project, as the Club benefitted from a project team with open

communication and commitment to delivering a high quality project on time.

Minimising Disruption

As the project was taking place within a live environment, the client needed

Network Refurbishments & Construction to ensure minimal disruption to its

operations and patrons. There was continuous consultation with the Club in

regard to noisy activities, and demolition works were carried out in a manner

that minimised inconvenience to patrons and staff.

Complex Elements

The key challenge of this project was the gutting and refurbishment of an

existing Club. Incorporating bars, toilets and lounge areas, as well as the

intricate nature of a functioning club, the redesign of the bar, cashiers and

coffee service areas had to allow for an increase in efficiencies of staffing and

be able to meet the needs of the increasing number of patrons to the gaming,

lounge and auditorium areas. The refurbishment also included a new reception

area, bottle shop and the alteration and replanning of disabled, male and

female toilets.
