Overview

Petersham RSL Club wanted to give it’s members and guests a new look and style to

the club. The club needed a high end quality design and refurbishment as well to give a

more efficient floor plan, to link together the outdoor gaming room to indoor gaming room

and as well as to increase efficiency in staffing with the linking of the new bar and

cashiers, and manage the works so the Club's operations could continue.

Minimising Disruption

As the project was taking place within a live environment, the client needed Network

Refurbishment and Construction to ensure minimal disruption to its operations and Club

patrons. There was continuous consultation with the Club in regard to activities and

other building works being undertaken to minimise inconvenience to patrons and staff.

Complex Elements

The key challenge of this project was the refurbishment of an existing Club. Along with

the intricate nature of a functioning club, was the need to redesign the bar and cashier

areas to provide new look as well as upgrading existing bar. The gaming room was to be

the centre piece of the design with cascading lights and features to treated columns. A

Child area was also provided along with a lounge area adjacent. Toilets where made to

be child friendly & the clubs new look was compounded by a carpet that

was specially designed for the club.

Programme

Network Refurbishment & Construction was charged with ensuring

minimal disturbances to the Clubs operations. The project was

completed the works on Time & Budget.
