Overview

Moorebank Sports Club wanted to expand the existing operating kitchen footprint and upgrade its equipment and construct a new servery. The client wanted the renovation to be on time, on budget and ensure its restaurant business could continue operating while building works and the fitout took place.

Minimising Disruption

As the project was taking place within a live environment, the client needed Network Refurbishments & Construction to ensure minimal disruption to its restaurant operation and Club patrons. There was continuous consultation with the Club in regard to noisy activities

taking place and that demolition works were conducted to minimise inconvenience to kitchen staff.

The key challenge of this project was access to the construction site as it was through an operating restaurant kitchen. Network Refurbishments & Construction provided temporary, but full, kitchen facilities so the restaurant could continue during renovation.

Timely Delivery

The project program was tight, providing limited time for the restaurant kitchen and servery to be completed, handed over and opened on time . Careful planning and Network 

Refurbishments & Construction’s ability to deliver projects in a short timeframe

made this achievable.
