Business Continuity - Design Input - Budget

Campbelltown RSL CLub

 Overview

Network Refurbishment & Construction’s brief by Cabra-Vale Diggers Club was to replan the existing Campbelltown RSL Club to accommodate the following changes:

1.Increase outdoor gaming facility

2.Plan and construct new escalators to service 1stfloor Star Bistro

3.Construct new entertainment lounge with new bar

4. Construct new Grillerestaurant and kitchen

5. Update facilities for BCA and access requirements.

Minimising Disruption

As the project was taking place within a live environment, the client needed Network Refurbishment & Construction to ensure minimal disruption to its operations and Club patrons. There was continuous consultation with the Club in regard to activities and other building works being undertaken to minimise inconvenience to patrons and staff.

ComplexElements

The key challenge of this project was the construction into a post tensioned concrete slab of new escalators into the existing functioning Club. The Club also required a new entertainment lounge to accommodate up to 400 people with a new-look bar. The Club’s outdoor gaming was increased. All new services were provided to the 1stfloor bistro, as well as, updating the 1stfloor bar and adjacent area. The Club’s new

Grillerestaurant on the ground floor has been well received by patrons
